Biography

Richard Tippett has spent most of his life juggling work with his foremost passion - photography. His photographic life began in journalism, taking shots for The Bristol Journal.

He moved on from his successful time at The Journal to working at The Bristol Bierkeller, delighting in taking pictures of such rock giants as Saxon, Magnum, Uriah Heep and the legendary, Ian Gillan.

In later years, Richard concentrated on landscapes and portraiture, combining the latter with taking stunning pictures of his other great love - his little princess, Grace.

Digital Dreams has gone from strength to strength and has worked with Frank PR, London, on promotional shots for N Power under 11's football league and Pizza Express' The Big Audition with Jamie Cullum.

Richard also ran Coniston Camera Club, based at The Community Centre in Patchway, Bristol, on a fortnightly basis. The aim was to bring together like-minded people who shared the same love of photography as Richard.

Most recently, Richard provided various photographic training through his work at Jessops with the Award winning Academy photography training team. This included 121 sessions, Photography level 1, Wildlife photography (Big Cats) and studio photography as well as training businesses in photography and videography.

He also worked with Olympic gold medalist Jason Gardiner MBE with his school project Team Super Schools (you can find out more about TSS via our links page).
